Natural Stone & Rock Testing

Building stones are naturally occurring rocks of igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic origin which are sufficiently consolidated to enable them to be cut or shaped into blocks or slabs for use in walling, paving or roofing materials in the construction of buildings and other structures. The principal rock types used as building stone are limestones (including marbles), sandstones, slates and granites

Natural Stone & Rock Testing In Depth

At ACS Testing our laboratories are able to carry out a comprehensive scope of testing on rock, natural stone and armourstone, covering the most commonly requested tests for physical and mechanical properties.
