ACS Group of Companies have been providing monitoring, testing and consultancy services for the newly approved training facilities at AFC Bournemouth, Kings Park, Bournemouth.  This exciting project involves the construction of two grass pitches and two 3G all weather pitches for use by AFCB players and the Community. The scheme will see the redevelopment of Council owned land that is a historic landfill site. The work has involved installation of gas monitoring boreholes, review of previous investigations and preparation of a Remediation Method Statement and testing of topsoil and root-zone materials. Consultation has been undertaken with the Local Authority Planning and Environmental Health Departments and the Environment Agency – Groundwater and Contaminated Land Team.
